Welcome to the website of Excel and Ready Community Program (“ERCP,” “Organization,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at www.excelandready.org (the “Site”).

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site.

1. About ERCP

Excel and Ready Community Program is a Rhode Island nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students through academic programming, creative and cultural enrichment, mentorship, leadership development, and year-round learning opportunities.

This Site is intended to share information about ERCP’s mission, programs, services, leadership, community impact, events, volunteer opportunities, donor opportunities, downloadable resources, and ways to support our work.

2. Eligibility and Use of This Site

This Site is intended primarily for adults, including parents, guardians, donors, volunteers, and community partners.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use this Site independently. If you are under eighteen (18), you may use this Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

Children should not submit personal information through this Site without parent or guardian consent. Parents or legal guardians should complete any forms requesting information about a child.

You agree to use this Site only for lawful, personal, informational, educational, charitable, and community-related purposes. You agree not to use this Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair, or interfere with the Site or with any other person’s use of the Site.

Submission of an inquiry, interest form, registration form, volunteer form, partner form, or contact form does not guarantee enrollment, acceptance, participation, volunteer placement, partnership, employment, or any formal relationship with ERCP unless confirmed separately in writing by ERCP.

ERCP reserves the right to update program offerings, schedules, requirements, availability, and operational details based on staffing, funding, space, student needs, safety considerations, organizational capacity, and community needs.

4. Informational Nature of Content

All content, materials, and information provided on this Site, including text, articles, reports, downloadable resources, newsletters, videos, images, graphics, testimonials, program descriptions, and other materials, are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

5. Donations and Payments

ERCP may use information submitted through forms to respond to inquiries, administer programs, communicate with families, coordinate volunteer or partner interest, process donations, manage organizational operations, and support student participation.

Submission of a form does not create any formal relationship, partnership, employment relationship, volunteer placement, program commitment, or other obligation unless confirmed separately by ERCP.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, by submitting User Content, you grant ERCP permission to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and share that content in connection with ERCP’s mission, programs, communications, promotional materials, newsletters, reports, social media, fundraising, and other organizational purposes.

ERCP makes reasonable efforts to obtain appropriate permissions before publishing identifiable photos, names, quotes, stories, or testimonials involving students, families, staff, volunteers, or partners.

ERCP reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to review, edit, decline, remove, or refuse to post any User Content at any time and for any reason.

ERCP reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with ERCP in asserting any available defenses.
